Function

My name is Alex Weininger. I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Portland. I like doing web development but am trying to dig deeper into other things because I am not so sure if I want to be doing web development, either front or back end for a career. At the moment it seems too fast paced and dare I say ‘messy’? The problem I am having right now is that I don’t really know where else to go. I have a good grasp of Java, and know my way around some Python. But I am really not sure what you do with these languages.

Maybe I am just naive.

This blog is made using Hexo, an amazing static site generator. I couldn’t recommend Hexo more, it is awesomely easy to set up, and has great documentation. I am using a cool theme for Hexo called Castus Dark which you can check out here.
